Oh you're brilliant. You won't even tell us the router make & model - LOL

Just posting it's IP address is not much help as dozens of different router models use the same IP address.

You or someone else may have changed the router login password for greater security so try resetting it so it reverts to factory defaults.

Hi xnil223,

A number of people wonder if the Ip address is accessible on the net or otherwise not. It's because, this particular IP is non-public making sure that, personal computer associated with that specific wireless routers are only able to connect to the IP. In the event the laptop or computer isn't a member of the computer network, it would not connect with this unique IP address. Yet another thing you need to know is this ip may be altered if required. Simply speaking, in case you are on a open public wi-fi system you will not be capable to sign in to the wireless router.

On the back there should be a very small hole. It is the same size as on the front of the CD drive on any computer. Take a paper clip and stick it in there. Press the button for 30 seconds. This should reset the router to factory specs. Then the admin and password should work. Sometimes it is admin: admin, password: admin. You will need to redo your wifi and wifi passwords, and the firmware updates after doing this.

I don't need to be right, but I am never wrong.
