Plink with Telnet connection

October 25, 2012 at 19:38:51
Specs: Windows 7
I use plink to retrieve CISCO device information with SSH, it work very well for single command, but I couldn't use plink to retrieve CISCO device information with telnet connection.

I can use PuTTY to retrieve CISCO device information with telnet connection, but there is a human interaction, it means that user must enter a command after the previous command is executed, could you tell me is there any method to retrieve CISCO device information without human interaction, so that I can make an application to retrieve CISCO device information automatically. Your help will be appreciated.

It may be possible using a linux or Unix distro and a script. It would depend a lot on what the "human interaction" entails.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
