Hi there any help would be appreciated. I have a Netgear WGR614 router and I'm trying to run my At&t DSL through it. I'm able to access the internet when I'm directly connected to my modem, but when I plug in my modem to my router and then to my computer there is no internet. When I try it wireless, I'm able to pick up and connect to my router; however there is no internet. I'm assuming there is something wrong with the IP addresses and such; however, I'm not exactly sure as to the best way to fix this problem. I'm currently running Windows XP as my operating system. Thanks again for any help.
If you need to authenticate to your ISP, you have to configure this in the routers setup. You may also have to clone the MAC address of your computer. This is an option in the routers setup too. Read the manual of the router for further informations on how to configure your router.

Hey Scuba33, just wanted to let you know not to feel like the "Lone Ranger". I have the exact same ISP, and router, as you do, and am having the same problem. Needless to say, I will be following your thread.
