Park WiFi-local wireless network

Linksys / Wrt54g

Specs: Windows XP
We are in a Florida Park with Park WiFi.
I have two desktops, one with outside antenna which connects to WiFi well. I would like to use a Linksys router to allow the other desktop(with a usb adapter) to connect to the Park WiFi. I tried it last year with no success. Can it be done? Thanks.

google internet connection sharing.

Certainly would be better to get a wireless card to the pc and connect it direct to the park wifi.

Thank you. I would go that route but in my location it is difficult to connect to the Park WiFi without an outside antenna so I was trying to get the job accomplished for both computers with one antenna. Is it really that hard to do what I want?

not hard but since you will be using a pc as a router it will be slower than a direct wifi connect.

So what I need to know now is how to get it set up so I can connect to the Park WiFi from the second computer. I have a usb adapter on that computer and the Linksys WRT54G wireless router to use on the main computer. I connect to the Park WiFi with a Linksys PCI adapter and outside antenna on the main desktop. If there is some description that will tell me how to do it successfully I hope someone can tell me where it is so I can try it. Thanks.
