Solved Panasonic smart tv adaptor question

February 20, 2020 at 11:51:00
Specs: Windows 7
Panasonic smart TV TC 32LX24 and xfinity cable with Xfinity TV. I want to attach the Panasonic smart TV to the cable. The TV does not seem to have suilt in wifi. The Panasonic UTube stuff all have built in networks or talk about using an adaptor. Amazon prices are all over including Panasonic model TY-WL20U for $80.00 to $100.00 Other brands are around $20.00. I am asking if I am stuck with the Panasonic or can I use any brand. I am cutting the cord from Direct TV but trying to have the best of all worlds.

✔ Best Answer
The TC-32LX24 isn't a smart TV. https://shop.panasonic.com/support-...

If you want to turn it into one, you'll need a Roku, FireTV stick, or something similar.

"So what is the best way to smarten up my TV"

Like I said, you'll need a Roku or Fire Stick. Or you can connect a PC to your TV & use it for both web browsing and watching TV.
