I cannot get http://192.168.0.1 to open up when I type it in the browser..it always says it is busy. What do I need to do to get into the D-link home screen?
can ya ping it? Just another stupid saying...
How do you ping it?
Click Start / Run and type in CMD and click ok.
In the command prompt, type:
ping 192.168.0.1Check the browser settings, whether it is configured to use a proxy.

Let us know, if the problem is solved !!!
While you're at your command prompt (Start >> Run >> type cmd and hit Enter) run the following command: ipconfig /all
and post the output here.
The Default Gateway IP listed from the above command will likely be the LAN IP of your router. That's the IP you need to connect to. If it's different from what you posted above, try the DG IP from the ipconfig command and see what happens.
