What program(s) are you trying to install?

Is this an Active Directory integraded Windows domain?

How exactly are you trying to install over the network?

iv tried installing adobe reader, itunes, mcafee spyware and many others but immediatly i switch off these computer n on again, these applications get lost.initially i installed these applications in the main server(this is in a cyber cafe) then later install them in the client workstations.i thought maybe it was a network error so i opted to indepenmdent program installation,i.e one client at a time but the problem still wat exactly is the root problem,is it software incompatibility with the O.S or what

Are you using a Mandatory Profile or an application like Deep Freeze on your PC's?

I ask because you said, " i switch off these computer n on again, these applications get lost." and that to means you have the workstations locked down.

Just for a simple test, on any of the aforementioned workstations, what happens if you change the wallpaper on the desktop and reboot. After the reboot, is the original wallpaper back, or is the newly selected one showing?

Without knowing whether you're using mandatory profiles in Windows, or 3'd party software that locks down the desktop, I can't help you.

All I can tell you is, figure out which it is and then change that.
