Hi All, (sorry if this has come up twice)
Over the past few weeks (could be a lot longer) I have noticed that I network icon at the bottom right is showing continual activity.
Even though I am not do anything with the computer it keeps clocking up data traffic.
I have IE8, Outlook, Skype, Logmein, OVI, Mcafee and a couple of others active when the computer starts up, but the data traffic does not show up as active when started.
I have done a virus, and spyware checks with McAfee, Ad-Aware, Spybot and even online Housecall with nothing out of the ordinary. Even task manager doesn't show anything wrong.
Does anyone have any ideas where I should be looking?
I hope I've included enough details?

Typically, any connected network interface will regularly announce itself on the network and ask if there's anybody else out there. This is normal and typical and nothing to worry about.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
