2- disable/enable LAN adaptor.
3- tried another network router.
4- uninstall/install LAN network driver

6- cleaned my laptop Ethernet jack.
7- change duplix speed from auto to 100mb
8- change power save settings

Look at the device manager under network adapters. Are there any yellow or red marks?

Was Win 7 the original OS on that machine? If not, the correct driver may have to be downloaded or is not available.

Yes,and I have downloaded again the driver from Realtek but still problem is there. Properties of the adaptor shows device is working properly. "CABLE UNPLUGGED" still there and cannot detect network connection.

thx

I had a problem like that once, where the OS wouldn't see the adapter, so I bought a USB to cat5 adapter from radio shack.
