netgear remote management problem

Specs: Windows 7
I checked the remote management box to see what it does but did not really want to go through with it so I went back and unchecked the box and apply it. Now I cannot access internet. My internet provider comcast. I unplugged the router and started it again but still could not get to access to internet. I can connect to my wireless network but do not have access to internet. please help!

Sounds more like you unchecked the dhcp server box not the box for remote mangement.

If you connect direct to the comcast modem do you get internet?

If so then get back into the router and check the configuation concerning dhcp.

After that post the results of a ipconfig /all for review and further troubleshooting.
