needed to reboot asus AC router first morning after setup

Specs: Windows 7
brand new asus wireless router...worked great when set up yesterday afternoon...couldnt even find the wireless on my asus laptop this morning...streaming to tv was constantly stopping...unplugged and waited a bit...things came back to where they were yesterday....why?

You may take a look at the Asus website and check the firmware version.
http://support.asus.com/download.as...

As far as I know, the firmware ASUS RT-AC66U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.354 is on beta stage and should only be used on problems with the router.

You will find everything about the firmware versions on the website, listed above.
I personally switched back to the ASUS RT-AC66U Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.270.
