Need to stabilize WDS routers

Hello
I connected two routers (wirless g belkin router plus comtrend ct-536+) through wireless distribution system and eventually I am able to go online no matter which of the routers the computer gets connected to.

The thing is that I usually can ping any of the routers no matter which one I am connected to. Nonetheless, quite a few times, it takes the routers a few restarts until the router which is not directly attached to internet, that is to say, the comtrend 536+, let me go online. That is why I am wondering whether you might know any setting which might help fixing this. Well, may be I have not tested this much yet.
One thing is true, once the router that is not attached directly to internet starts giving access to the internet for its computers, it seems pretty stable, which is not that bad.
Thanks in advance.

I think I solved it for the time being. I think the problem was that I had both routers with DHCP enabled. I disabled DHCP on the internal router and left it enabled on the one which is the gateway to get online in Internet.
Thanks though.
