June 24, 2014 at 22:54:36
Specs: varied depending on device
My extender works if it's connected to device using a ethernet cable (like my roku video streamer so I have no issues watching netflix),...but none of my wireless devices can connect to it..computers, tablets, phones.... I enter the password, it tries connecting and they all say saved and secured but they will never connect using the zyxel...help!!!!

This is an extender - so presumably you have another router (let's call it your "primary" router) that is both wifi and ethernet connections; and connects to your isp? What make and model is that (primary) router?

This is the "manual" for your router: perhaps have a look-see and possibly it will help you set it up.

Thanks for the manual. I will look into it more.... Except I dont think it is the router because when I am using my computer in the office, where the router is located, my computer will connect to it wirelessly... so for example....my computer connects wirelessly in the office to "familywireless" but there is no signal upstairs...so I use the zyxel range extender upstairs. But....when I try to connect my computer upstairs to "familywirelesszyxel" it will never connect...it just searches for the ip address over and over and eventually says (on my computer)..saved and secured...but if I then take a lan wire upstairs...connect it to my zyxel and then to my computer...I get internet on my computer just fine. Hope that makes sense.
