My wireless disconnects all the time.

September 27, 2011 at 21:06:23
Specs: Windows XP, AMD Sempron 2200+ 1.50GHz / 1.50GB
I own a WinXP Sp3.
i have an airlink 101 4030 wireless cardbus adapter/antenna

I used to use my wireless, but it was too slow, so i switched to Ethernet.
Now i need to use wireless, because i moved to a different household, where Ethernet is not there.

I am using a Samsung 4gLTE card, that broadcasts wirelessly ONLY

I connected my desktop to a family members laptop, and bridged connections, so that i may download the proper driver, and utility.

My connection now works, i may connect to google/yahoo/facebook, and some other sites.
this first started when i attempted a connection to, where it loaded half the page, then my computer's wireless LAN utilities showed that it disconnected.

I then experimented, i cannot connect to specific sites, or services.. Such as skype, Steam,,, and most forum sites (when i tried researching my problem [IT KNOWS!])

I have asked lots of people, and even my smartest of tech friends are stumped!

Please help!

you didn't have a static IP address, with a dns setting you entered or anything from the previous router setup?

Is this still a bridged connection? Have tried deleting all connections now that you have the proper drivers etc and recreating the connection? Pending that, and all your friends are stumped....generally whenever I find myself scratching my head it's a failing (not dead that would be too easy) but a malfunctioning wifi card even tho it worked the last time you used or there is a problem with the install that connects you to this device. Are you able to access the 4glte, are there settings or is this all suppose to work from there install? You could try the laptop someplace else with good wireless just to test your wifi card.

the install was automatic. I am able to access the card. I have ip address, i have the gateway, and sometimes the DNS lookup fails on me..
All of the computers in my household can connect to this card, just fine, and perform the activities i cannot.
