My laptop doesnt connect to my 5ghz bandwidth connection

Lenovo Essential g580 15.6" led notebook...

Specs: Windows 10, Intel core i5-4200m, 2.50ghz 2 core and ram is 8gb
I recently travelled to Korea and the internet connection is very fast, we have 4 internet connections in the house although 2 of them are 2.4ghz and 2 are 5 GHz although my laptop only connects to the 2.4 GHz connection and doesn't even show the 5hz connection, help anyone?

1. From the Windows Start Screen, search “Network
2. Click View Network Connections
3. Mouse over the Wi-Fi adapter to display the adapter name

What is the exact name/model of the Wifi adapter?
