My gateway will not connect to the internet

October 19, 2011 at 14:43:22
Specs: Windows 7, 4GB DDR3 Memory 500 GB HDD
I have a gateway with windows 7 and was working fine and a couple of weeks ago it will no longer connect to the internet. I have always used the wifi connection. The wifi signal is a orange computer and on my other computer when it is working it is typically green, so I am not sure what this orange color means, if anything.

What router are you using for your gateway? It is hard to determine what that exactly means without knowing the exact model.

It would appear you don't own that wireless connection since you couldn't answer the question about what router you own. Perhaps the owner figured out you were connecting and disabled your ability to connect.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.

wanderer is right.

If you are connecting to a wireless connection you do not own, the owner might have banned you from joining.

If you do own it, we need to know the model so we can determine what the lights mean.
