Hi,

My company is thinking of migrating our email from our ISP to inhouse and I'm in charge of the project. I was wondering if anyone can give me a broad outline on what to do as I've never done before.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Do you plan to use MS Exchange? Were you given a budget?

http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/2...

That site will give you the pricing. Search google for exchange alternatives, if it's over budget.

My boss hasn't specified a budget, but he'll pay whatever, its more what I need in terms of what I need to do with ISP etc, and then with people's PST files. Do I get them to drag folders into new mailbox?

I want to keep the existing domain suffix we have also.

Regards

Assuming that you're going to use exchange, start with:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/...

Familiarize yourself with it. You might want to take some books out of the library too.
