Make two ethernet cards work independently

December 12, 2010 at 07:47:03
Specs: Windows XP
I have one PC with two ethernet cards. I connect each eth. card with a adsl modem/router. One router is for the internet access with ip 192.xxx.xxx.xxx and the other router is for a VPN with IPs 10.xxx.xxx.xxx.
How can I setup these connection to work both of them. Until now if the traffic pass from the one card (for the VPN for example) it is unable to reach the internet through the other.

XP does not have that feature, you need to install a Server Operating System

You can bridge the two connections which may achieve what you want. You can do that with Windows XP Prof or Home.

From Network Connections right click on one of the connection and select Bridge Connections and follow the instructions.
