Solved lost wireless password for my router

Specs: Windows XP
I can't find my wireless router password and therefore can't join the network at home. please help.

Depends on the router. If you can connect using a cable then the password may be displayed in plain text under the wireless security section. Otherwise the easiest option is to reset the router to its default settings (usually no security set), and then set it up again with a new password. You will need to check the manual for specifics on how to do this, or post back with make/model details.

if you are able to connect to your router by using lan cable connection, you can change the wireless password (encryption key) and reconfigure the wireless connection at your computer.
In that case, you don't need to reset your router to factory default settings.
