Having a crazy problem here at work. We occasionally
lose our internet connection for anywhere from 15-30
seconds at a time.During the down time, I can ping my server from my PC, I
can ping my router from my PC, but I cannot ping our
gateway (the ISP adtran) from my PC.However, if I log into the router, I can ping the gateway from
there. So something, occasionally, is preventing the PC from
communicating with the Gateway, but only for a short
amount of time. It's very difficult to diagnose a problem that only arises a
few times an hour, and only for 15-30 seconds at a time,
but I welcome any suggestions beyond rebooting the router
and changing out Cat5 cables, cause I've already tried that!- Marcus

This sounds to me like an issue between the WAN and the LAN side of your router.
The first thing I would do is check for a firmware update for your unit. If there is one, upgrade and see if that fixes the issue. If it doesn't, I 'd resetting the unit to factory defaults and then I'd reconfigure it. If that doesn't fix the issue, it may very well be time to replace the router.
As curt said you need to check for firmware update and after updating re -configure the router change the wireless channel number aswell.
