Logon on Network Problem

Specs: Windows 7, 192MB
I keep getting an error with three of my computers about not having credentials to access another computer...actually word for word it says,

"\\M-PC is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer."

..at the same time I'm able to go through a proxy with a wired connection with xanolog proxy to access a wireless connection to the Internet...Why would I be having this error? I'm mainly concerned first with it having to do with my network adapter not being configured right--or not having the right driver for it--with a computer that I'm getting the error on because I need to make sure that part of the system is working before I give it back to the customer.

Then of course secondly I'm concerned with how to fix it.

Thanks in advanced for any helpful response/s.

I am somewhat confused...I don't think it's a driver issue. What are you trying to access. That error suggest file sharing errors, the three computers do not have sufficient rights to access whatever it is you are trying to access....give them access.
Network connection and sharing center. Is network discovery and file sharing on? On the computer you are trying to access you must have password use set to on......so you either add each of those users....or give the group everybody permission...just becareful if security is what is required.

I have a vision of a small network with 3 computers that cannot connect to a shared resource on another unit?? What is special about these 3 computers were they just worked on, or did 3 of them suddenly have a problem? The fact you receive that error shows there is no problem physically connecting to the computer, but that those 3 have no access rights. Why is the ? What changed. Are they in the same workgroup? Permissions problem.
