Specs: Windows 21.06.2009
I discovered my Local Area Connection is down after buying this new linksys e1000 router after trying to play my xbox360. I went to go check things out and I discovered my Local Area Connection is down and I assume this might be whats effecting my XBL Connection. Anyways the error message says:
"A cable is not plugged into a network adapter"Local Area Connection""
Ive tried resetting it/taking the cables out and putting them back in.

Did you check to see if the latest updates from Linksys are installed from the Linksys site? It could be a defective unit.

Yes, like I said i've had this router for a month an d i didnt know the local area connection was down until i came back from vacation and tried playing my 360. I dont know if getting a new router would mean i would have to do something with my TEW-430APB which is the wireless AP I use to get on Xbox live...?
