I have a linksys router model#wrt54gt v1 and I can not pull up the router's ip address to change the security settings. I have checked and I have the correct IP address of 192.168.1.1. I can ping the router and everything hooked up to the router is now working correctly. I was having problem with the router losing the internet ip address and having to turn everything off and then back on to connect to the internet. I reset the router and it seems to have corrected that problem but I now can not pull up the router's ip address. I have tried in Internet Explorer and Firefox. I have tried typing the http:// and https:// before the ip address but it will not pull up. I have read countless posts trying to trouble shoot and figure out what's wrong with it and nothing will work. I have also done everything Linksys website said to do and still no luck. Please Help Thanks Mandy
This is the message I get when I try to open the web interface - The connection has timed out The server at 192.168.1.1 is taking too long to respond. I have tried it in Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. I have disabled all the security crap that I was told could block it also.
