Try resetting the router. With it turned on, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds. Release, let it reboot (about 1 minute) and then try connecting to the management interface with your computer physically plugged in to a LAN port.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

After resetting the router, connect your computer to router temporary this way, and set IP 192.168.1.100, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1 on computer. finally try to log on to router management page (http://192.168.1.1) with following default username/password.

default username: (leave it blank)
password:admin

Hope this helps.

I would have suggested instead of resetting the router that you just reboot a connected pc and then do an ipconfig to see what the gateway ip was set to. Then using that ip try to access the router admin page.
