Hi guys I need your input please.

If I connect the internet cable to wired router and the wired router to wireless
router it should turn the dhcp off on the wireless computer. 1.Would I be able
to get wireless internet to my laptop and to wire computers?
2.Would both routers be on the same network?

Why am I asking this?

I have 5 wired computers, 4 wireless laptops and 1 printer.

The printer is connected to the wired router.
The laptop won't recognize the printer.(Because the 2 routers are not in the
same network)
The wired computers are ok with the printer. Somebody told me that I might have
2 dhcp's. One on each router. And this is the problem. Is it so?

The connection of routers:
From wan of wired router cable connection to ethernet of wireless router. 4
ports of the wireless router are empty.
On the wired router 4 computers connected to ports with ethernet cables.

The printers network info:
IP address:192.168.1.104
Gateway:192.168.1.1
Subnet mask:255.255.255.0
Via DHCP:192.168.1.1

The wireless laptop's network info:
IP address:192.168.0.104
Gateway:192.168.0.1
Subnet mask:255.255.255.0

Thank you.

You don't need 2 routers for 9 computers. If you insist on having them, the gateway & the subnet mask has to be changed on one of them. Click on Curt R's name. He has a How To link.

You use a router & a switch if there are more than 5 wired PCs.
