My laptop keeps hanging after i am connected to the net at home. My laptop is fine as long as it is not connected to the net at home. My comp just freezes. However, my comps works fine when i am using it in school using the school cable. Apparently, the home net line works fine for my desktop. What is happening here? Is my line or laptop faulty?
Does it happen in safe mode? How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
describe your home network
Hi,
Thanks for the prompt reply. Apparently, i am using my laptop in safe mood with network. It is working pretty alright but kind of annoying when most of the functions are disabled. As for my home network, i am just using a normal cable modem. Hope that helps. =)
Most likely you are infected with a port trojan.
You are only as good as your software firewall/anti bad guy software with a direct connect to the internet.Start by returning to a restore point before the problems started.
Make sure your windows firewall is enabled and you are updated on all the service packs and updates.
But why does my laptop work perfectly alright when i am using my school cable?
Try a different cat5 cable. How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.
