Lan Express USB Driver for Linux

December 25, 2010 at 14:59:48
Specs: DSLinux 4.4.10, Pentium 200 64MB
Driver disc only shows windows XX drivers, other web sites say that its support under Linux is unknown

When installed and booted to Linux, the device detects the wireless network but DSL Linux does not see a connection. The wireless network is secured with a passphrase, so the Linux utility must supply the passphrase to the USB device and to the wireless access point

What exactly are we talking about?

Are you really using an access point or is it a router, that connects you to the internet?

Did you get a connection to your access point or router, so that the LAN Express device gets an ip address?

Did you use the program wificonf to configure your wlan connection at the DS?

Keep in mind that DSlinux only supports wlan encryption WEP.
