Keep getting off my wireless network

Specs: Windows XP
My mother had a cogeco modem..i am running my belking g router to her modem and am using my d-link wireless n card to get a signal..for the last month or two it has been working fine..and lately in the last week or two every 5 to 15 minutes it is booting me off the network and completely disconnecting me..after i reconnect sometimes im fine for an hour or half hour and it boots me off again! Why! help

Are any other wireless clients having the same problem? If yes, click on my name above in my response and read my "how-to" guide on 'troubleshooting wireless issues'.

If no, it's likely the interface in your laptop. In that case you'll want to ensure you have the more up-to-date drivers for the device. If that doesn't fix the problem, the next thing to try would be un/reinstall the TCP/IP stack. If that doesn' do the trick you can try removing the device in device manager and let windows install it again. If that doesn't do the trick, try another wireless adapter.
