There is no 'X' to stop the page loading because it isn't loading - get it?

The 'X' only appears when a page starts to load properly - get it?

To close that tab if it's the only one, open a new tab then you'll be able to close the first one.

Or just close the web browser if you don't know how to work with tabs.
