Does Parental Controls work with Linksys Router when you have iPv6 enabled?? I'm trying to determine if that's the reason why I cannot get the parental controls to work.

We would have preferred you didn't start a new thread for this considering it's really an extension of the discussion you already started earlier.

I wouldn't think IPv6 would be the issue but the simple way to test is to disable it on the NIC's of all your computers and see what happens.

I know it's going to be some time before IPv6 gets deployed around the world on the internet so the truth is, it's really not necessary to be using it right now. Especially in a home LAN environment.

How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

Already answered that question in the original post.

Since filtering on the pcs is by host names its anything from those hosts that are filtered which included both ip versions.

Least that's how it works on my dlinks and netgears. I don't buy Linksys anymore.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
