IP/router problem

January 21, 2012 at 11:25:35
Specs: Windows 7, core i7 2.4GHz/6 GB
When i try to access my router by typing in 192.168.1.1 in the URL bar, it tells me to enter my username and password, i do so but nothing happens. What am i doing wrong? (i know the password and username are correct, so that's not the problem)

What make of router, and what browser are you using? There is a problem with IE that means this happens on my Thompson router unless I change a setting via the command line. If you're using IE, try Chrome, Opera, or Firefox.

I'm using Chrome, but IE didn't work either. It's a linksys router
