Specs: Windows Vista
Hi

I am able to connect to internet on wireless, but when I use the ethernet lan cable, I am not able to open any sites. I have configured the IP, but everytime I open the TCP/IP properties, it hase be reset to 0.0.0.0.
I am not sure why my laptop doesnt keep the IP settings.

Cheers

It really shouldn't be necessary but login as administrator. See if the settings hold.

Hopefully, you haven't used the same ip address for both, wireless and wired connection.
This won't work.
If the wireless connection has ip address 192.168.1.100, use 192.168.1.101 for the wired connection.

Why don't you simply use DHCP to automatically assign ip addresses?
