Hello Everyone.
I have purchased a Zoom X5 ADSL modem to run with my At&t service. It runs ok, however, a lot of times, the speed connection drops, and then back up. I have contacted my isp, and everything is good on their end.
When I connect my old modem, it works just fine, and the speed is solid.
I am trying to find out if it is a setting in the Zoom that I do not have right. I need that modem because it has 4-port instead of 1-port (like my old one).
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
That is not a modem but modem/router/switch.

Thanks for the answer! What should be the settings of the firewall?
If the settings are correct, what would be the next step? Thanks!
To determine if the firewall is causing the issue disable it. If you still keep getting fluxuations then we know the issue is somewhere else.
