I'm not sure what you mean. So I'm going to assume it's 5 separate buildings, each with it's own internet connection and you want them to connect to each other. If I'm guessing wrong, please clarify.

5 separate buildings, each with it's own internet connection will require a VPN device, or, a VPN capable device (ie: a SOHO router with VPN endpoint capabilities) at each location. Now I haven't done a whole of of connecting multiple buildings using VPN's (we have multiple buildings here at my main site but most are connected by single mode fiber optic. We have one point-to-point 1 Gb wireless link as well) so I'm not sure offhand if you can do a full mesh (ie: each location connects to each other location) or if you would have to do a star configuration (ie: 4 different points all connect to the 5th)

The full mesh version is obviously going to provide the best redundancy (ie: no single point of failure as with the star topology) but I wager the equipment will cost more.

Anyhow, that's how you do it, VPN devices at each location.

Ok then, you'll have to do what I said, purchase VPN devices for each location. It's worth the extra money to buy equipment capable of hosting multiple connections, while connecting to multiple other devices. It's more of a pain in the butt to configure, but a full mesh will provide you the best redundancy.
