IE won't connect, every other browser will

Very frustrating problem. IE won't connect only on my network. Every other browser works, every other network works. Just IE won't. This started this morning. I reset the router to factory and still had the same problem.

What could this be?

Check the IE settings,

Start -> Run -> inetcpl.cpl (hit enter)

Check the Connection's tab.

Oh, then check your host files;

Windows XP:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Yeah, hosts without an extension, rename into hosts.txt and open it.

If you see the website(s), that you cannot open, remove that line inclusive the IP.
And try again within the minute.

NO websites were in the file. Most websites don't work, however some do.
The ones that don't show IE is trying to connect to 10.0.0.1. What kind of IP is that?
