I am getting running Windows XP Pro and have a wireless internet signal through a Hawking HWREN1 repeater which gets the signal from a Netgear CGD24G router, and the "Lease Expires" every one hour, how do I change it (make it longer or forever)?

Does the Netgear have the latest firmware installed?

The change needs to be made in the router. Log into the router admin interface and change the settings in the DHCP section. If you do not have access to the router then ask whoever does to make the necessary change.

I have tried to make the change in the router, but I do not see where to make it with this model of Netgear. I have made such changes to other models of Netgear's routers, but this one has me stumped.
