I have reconnect wifi antenna wires wrong way

Specs: Windows 7
I have a laptop that I completely took apart and put back together, and now the wireless adapter doesn't work. I was thinking that I might have connected the antenna leads backwards, because I didn't label them when I disconnected them. So thinking I had it backwards, I switched the leads and I still have the same problem. Can you destroy a wireless adapter just by accidentally switching the antenna leads? Could it be that logged on as a Guest in Windows 7 I just don't have access to any wireless networks available?

Switching the antenna leads wont break anything. Depending on the antenna design it could make no difference. Either way it isn't going to damage anything at worst it just wont work. Your problem lies elsewhere.

If think that logging on as guest might be the problem the simplest solution is to log on a an administrator and try again.
