Specs: Windows 2000
I got a lap top from my job that runs on Windows 2000 and it had a domain on it. Somehow I deleted the domain and I am now locked out of the computer. What can I do to be able to log in.

Login in under the "This Computer" item in the Domain Drop Down and rejoin the laptop to the domain. If you are not your Domain Administrator get him/her to rejoin it because you will need the admin password.

That looks like what I am going to have to do because when I hit the option button it tells me to make sure that my user name and domain is correct. I was hoping to not have to call him, for I might get wrote up for it. Thank you anyway.

You can't join a domain unless you are attached to the domain. Domain is not a workgroup.

You can't join a domain until you can logon. Problem with deleting domain is now you are only local user. If you don't know of a local account with admin privleges to logon you can't get into the system. Catch 22
