Specs: windows 2000
my pc has windows 2000, i just installed a linksys wireless N router and my 2 laptops (with XP and windows 7) work fine. but i can't get on the internet with the PC that has windows 2000 and
a g wireless card. the min system requirements of the N router is XP or higher. so i'm not surprised that it doesn't work with windows 2000 but is there a workaround? i'm very inexperienced but suspect i need to download a driver but don't know how to get it.

It is quite likely the W2K Wireless Adaptor does not support the encryption you set on the N Router, if it waorked on an older router it should work on the N Router as they should be backward compatable.

N is only a speed, it is the pc/laptop wifi adaptors which determine which access speeds !
