HP Envy laptop & router Wireless problem

Specs: Windows 7, i7/8gb ram
I just bought a new hp envy laptop with window 7, and my router kept disconnecting me from games/steaming videos/downloading. When i plug my laptop to the modem with an Ethernet cable, everything is stable and fast. so i assume something is wrong with the router.
please help me out asap here is my ipconfig

I had the same problem, and it progressively got worse. I flashed the router with the latest drivers and the thing has been rock solid for almost a year now. Beyond that, check you signal strength and update the driver for the computer's wireless adapter.

=\, both the router and wireless adapter is up to date. And the signal strength is always at 5bar...still the net is unstable.

You might have channel interference. Use inSSIDer to pick the best wireless channel.
