I have a homework, I don't know how to subnet a class B.
Please give some steps on how to.. Thanks in advance.

You'll learn more if you do your own research. Google "Subnet Class B Address" and you'll get a host of hits, the first one of which will tell you what you need to know.

There, that wasn't so difficult and so much more satisfying than having someone do your homework for you.

If you have a class B address, then you have 16 network bits and 16 host bits. You need to borrow bits from the third octet to begin creating sub-networks. This means your subnet mask will be, the x's will depend on how many bits you borrow. That's just a start...
