green horn your questions are kinda strange. Steaming live or a day behind? What is your thinking here?

How about answering some simple questions?

Does your laptop have a vga port?
Does your present tv have a vga port?
Why did you think you need a usb port on the tv to do streaming?

Also, streaming will only be stuff off of your computer here. You wont be getting cable like content. You can stream movies and stuff from your computer or stream from websites like netflix. In essence, youre just using your TV as a large computer monitor, not getting extra content that you wouldnt otherwise get or anything.

It's running slower why? Have you changed or added anything?

Open up task manager and see how many processes are running?

Also, down in the bottom right of the screen where all the little icons are, next to the clock, do you have a lot of little icons showing up there?

Hello. I have an acer one netbook that im trying to connect to my 2001 mitsubishi ws-55809. my acer has a vga output and usb. My tv only has s-video, rca, coax, and an imput i don't recognize... it is like a vga but instead of 3 rows of 5 pins each it has 2 row of pins... the top row has 8 and the bottom has 7, and is a little longer than a vga input... I bought a vga to s-video/ rca cable but it didn't work, (i guess that kind of cable is a one way cable that flows from s-video/rca to vga... Anyway, I'd appreciate your help.
