Which model Belkin do you have?

By default most routers arrive with wifi switched off; unless it's provided by your isp - who often send them out with wifi enabled.

Basically - you login to the Belkin's homepage (it's an ip address that takes you into the innards of the router locally - not online).

Then you navigate to wireless page and enable wifi (switch it on).

Belkin will have provided the router's SSID (it's name when broadcasting wifi), and also the access-key (often incorrectly referred to as its password). They will be on a sticker on the router in some cases; and on a card or similar in the box... Make sure you keep the info safe if it's not on the router as well.

Presuming the wifi is active (enabled/switched on) then you ought to see the Belkin SSID in the list of access points when you seek to connect your computer, tablet, phone via wifi. Select it and provide the access-key when prompted; and if there is a tick box to remember that access-point on that computer etc. - then do so.

But post back with model of your router for more specific advice from the pholks here.

Go to the Belkin site, search for your router by model number, then download the user's manual.
