Click on my name above in this response and read my “how-to” guide titled, “Troubleshooting Wireless Issues” and go through the steps listed there.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

hello jenyclark58,

Disable Media Server Connection
To disable the Media Server Connection:

In the XMB™ home menu, go to Settings icon (Settings) > [Network Settings]
Select [Media Server Connection] and press the X button icon button.
Highlight [Disable] and press the X button icon button.

Check Your Network Equipment
Power-Cycle ALL Network Devices
Restore Default Settings
Confirm SSID
Confirm WEP or WPA Security Key
Confirm if Your Wireless Access Point Requires a MAC Address
If You Can't Connect to SCEA Game Servers or Network
Confirm Your Home Network Connection
Confirm Your ISP Account and Equipment Settings
Update Your Network Equipment's Firmware/Drivers
Bypass the Wireless Component to Isolate the Problem

If you follow the above steps, I guess you will be able to recover from the problem..
