How to protect my files from my home network?

Specs: Windows 7
Hi guys .. My proplem is about my home network. There is computers on my home network can access to my files!How can i protect my files from them..
BTW I use norton 2011

Keep your files on a removable CD or other removable media. Make 3 copies as something always seems to happen to the working copy. Use the backup copy to replace the working copy and have 1 archival copy in a safe place.

Configure permissions on all your files is the way to do it. You can do this either at file level or folder level. Anyone tries to access them they will get the Access Denied, Speak to you administrator message.

Or depending on which version of Windows 7 you are using, set up a user group with yourself as the sole member of that group and configure permissions to that user group only, deleting and references to Administrators group or any other group that may have access to your files.
