Jolicloud

I'm surprised at you giving such advice........RTFM!?!?

You KNOW those devices don't come with manuals and you also KNOW you can't just google for the manual and find it online. That information is given to only a select few and we don't give that info away for free..............

In case anybody missed it......that's sarcasm. ;)

Being a Motorola/Cambium dealer-distributor,

Being a dealer/distributor, you should have had that information before ever touching the hardware

You'll excuse me for being rude but, I woudln't do business with a dealer who doesn't know the equipment he's selling inside and out.

Well I wouldn't say you are rude. Perhaps just a little snarky?
I think much along those same lines, however this is an older generation product that I personally had at home on my "scrap" shelf, and wouldn't offer to anyone as it is an older retired product.
It is, of course fully functional, but I couldn't locate the information in my library so I figured I'd take a look on the net. Of course I found you here, and to say the least you were nice enought to reply to my request.
Perhaps I'll be able to return the favor someday, when you are looking for some information that I have available.

Yeah, if I get stuck I'll call you before I contact the manufacturer directly or make use of google or one of the other many search engines available on the internet...

I also came across one of these such devices... Sadly I believe the image became corrupt. I can serial into it but I cannot do much with it. Is there any chance anyone has the original bootloader for this thing? Or can direct me to somewhere I can get information.

The power light gives me a steady red and serial interface lets me set ipaddr/tftp info.. but nothing else..

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

If the image is corrupt your only choice would be to replace it with the same, or a newer image. But if it's as old a device as the original poster of this made it out to be, good luck findind a copy of that.

I would try contacting the manufacturer. Perhaps they've kept the firmware stored some where.

Yeah... I'm getting the run-around from my my distributors and not getting anywhere through the manufacturer either. I think it may just be a lost cause.
