Hey guys (and gals).

How can I enable the Hosted Network Virtual Adapter?

Suddenly it can't be enabled.. see http://oi68.tinypic.com/erzb6x.jpg

I mean, there is supposed to be a "Enable" or "Disable" option in the drop-down menu (please refer to the screenshot).

This is the Device Status:

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

Is this just a temporary problem? (which means it will go away when I restart/reboot the computer)

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Seems the best way is to restart the computer and see what happens.

Thanks. It was indeed a temporary problem.

And I'm sorry if I wasted your time. I could try restarting my laptop earlier but I just couldn't do so yet. (I had some urgent work that prevented me from restarting the computer)

I think from now on, I will check the Hosted Network adapter as soon as the Windows finished loading.
