How to create DNS record

Microsoft Windows server 2003

Specs: Server 2003
How do I set up DNS so that I can forward a URL to a bogus address? The purpose is to do url filtering on a local network.

DNS is already set up, I just don't know how to add the record properly.

This is a Domain Server if that makes any difference.

Thanks,

Greg

review post 9 in your last thread. DNS is not designed as a filter.

OK thanks.

I have rethought this since yesterday and came up with the Sonicwall TZ210 with the subscription. Seems to do everything I want at a reasonable price.

Thanks so much for your support Wonderer! I have much to learn about networking (I am a .net programmer - ask me about Ria Services and I could write you a book, but networking I find my way carefully.
