How to connect Globesurfer 3G HSDPA Router

Specs: Windows XP
My Globesurfer 2 only his I ethernet input and a phone hook up with a sim card slot. How hook up to computer. I'm using a cable modem. How go from cable modem into router then into 802.11 card in computer with only 1 input in the router, It wants me to install a sim card. I'm not using it as a mobil unit. It will sit in the basement with my main computer. Im at a loss!

802.11 card is a wireless card. Get a wireless router or a Wireless Access Point.

Boy am I off. I should have put a 10/100 eathernet cards not a 802.11

Appears the ethernet port is for connecting the modem and since it is also a wireless AP you would connect your pc via a wireless card.

Your pc's ethernet port is useless in this case. You need a wireless card
