how to connect 2 comp, to share files. both are connected to the net,through a hub. want wired,not wireless instructions.
On SuSE Linux, you can configure NFS server by using YAST. I don't know PC-linux-OS by myself, but this Linux NFS-HowTo should help you, to manage it.

While reading "Linux i686, p4-1.80/1gb", I assume, you will want to share files on linux based systems. There are a lot of ways, to share files on linux based computers.

yes Paul, the both computers are linux-one is suse enterprise 11. the other is PC-linux-OS.i am a new at this game ,so if you could make it as simple as possible,i would thank you very much.

thanks for the advice. i will have to check the link ,and see how to configure nfs.
